I have a friend who is commonly depressed and self-conscious when she really doesn’t deserve it. One of the things she likes are poems. I wanted to try writing one, but I want your help. Gotta admit, this scene made me pretty emotional. Arguably the best scene in Hanako’s route.
First try, got the “Chess Be Friends” ending. … Welp, at least it isn’t the worst ending.
Which I decided to go for anyway. This. This was painful to watch. Also, the penguin in the background looks like Masako’s Penguin partner, Esmeralda.
And then I finally took the true and good end. Pretty satisfying if I wasn’t left wondering what the muffins are all about. Also, the dark-skinned girl in the background was on the back of the KS player’s guide (the picture with all the chibis of various characters). I thought it was an alternate-outfit for Miki at first, but she doesn’t look anything like Miki here. Who is this mysterious background girl…?
Overall, this VN is great. Granted, it’s my first visual novel I’m ashamed to admit… But I’m really loving it. Next route I take will probably be Emi’s. Also going to start making this blog a little less KS-centric. Don’t want to make it seem like I’m that addicted to KS. orz

Katawa Shoujo seems to have really brought everyone on 4chan, or at least /a/, together. For once, it seems we all agree on something and have started to really show who we are behind the Guy Fawkes Mask.
Of course, it’s mostly because everyone agrees Shizune’s route is crap.
